Breaking Ground: Ignite Athletic Club Is Nearly Doubling in Size!

The sledgehammers are officially swinging, walls are coming down, and the next evolution of athletic performance in East Mesa is underway.

When we opened Ignite Athletic Club, our vision was clear: build a dedicated, results-driven home where athletes come to unlock true speed, power, and durability. Thanks to the hard work of our athletes, the trust of our parents, and the dedication of our coaching staff, we have reached an incredible milestone.

We have officially outgrown our space.

Ignite Athletic Club is taking over the adjacent unit, adding 4,300 square feet to bring our total training footprint to a massive 8,400 square feet.

Here is a look behind the scenes at what this expansion means for our training community and how we are upgrading every inch of the gym floor.

What’s Coming to the New 8,400 Sq. Ft. Facility

This expansion isn't just about adding floor space; it is about elevating the entire training experience. Every square foot of the new layout is engineered to help athletes move faster, lift heavier, and recover smarter.

Here is what is hitting the floor soon:

  • Expanded Sprint Turf: Extended speed lanes to execute uninhibited 10-yard split tracking, reactive agility drills, and multi-directional acceleration work.
  • Upgraded Force & Strength Equipment: Additional squat racks, heavy-force training tools, and specialized velocity-based training gear to accommodate growing teams and individual athletes.
  • Advanced Testing Tech: Dedicated testing zones for laser timing, jump mat reactivity, and kinetic force-production tracking.
  • More Breathing Room: Increased open floor space keeps our coach-to-athlete ratios tight while giving everyone the room needed to train at high speeds safely.

Pardon Our Dust: What to Expect During Construction

Work has officially begun across units 105 and 107. Our build team is moving quickly to execute demolition and structural upgrades, with a focus on keeping our daily training schedule running with minimal disruption.

Here is what members need to keep in mind over the coming weeks:

  • Pardon the Dust: Construction work will be happening side-by-side with our normal operations. Expect a little extra noise and temporary wall setups as the expansion takes shape.
  • Check Class Schedules: During heavy demolition phases, we will occasionally need to end evening sessions early (such as closing at 6:00 PM) to allow contractors access to structural walls. Always double-check class times in the member portal before heading over.
  • Stay Updated: We will post progress videos, contractor updates, and schedule notifications regularly via email and social media.

Bring a Teammate: Our Expanded Referral Perk

With nearly double the training space on the horizon, we are expanding our athlete community. If you know a teammate or friend who is ready to take their athletic performance seriously, bring them with you.

When you refer an athlete who signs up for a 6-month or 1-year commitment, you both benefit:

  • $50 Membership Credit: You get $50 off your next month’s dues, and your referral gets $50 off their first month.
  • Stackable Tier Discounts: This upfront credit stacks on top of our ongoing referral tiers: 5% off monthly dues for 1 active referral, 10% off for 2 active referrals, and 20% off when you maintain 3 or more active referrals.
